DroneBiz (“we”, “us”) provides job, media delivery, quoting, invoicing and payment tools for drone operators. This policy explains what we collect when you use the DroneBiz app and website, and how it is handled.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address, name, and the business details you enter (business name, contact details, tax registration, payment instructions).
- Client records you create — names and contact details of your clients, entered by you to manage your jobs.
- Job data — addresses, schedules, notes, quotes and invoices you create, and the GPS location captured when you start and finish a job.
- Photos and videos — the flight media you choose to attach to a job, including metadata embedded in those files (such as capture time and location). The app reads your photo library only to find and upload the files you select or that match your flight; it never uploads anything without your action.
- Payment data — online card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers. We store the payment status of your invoices and, if you connect a Stripe account, its identifier.
How it is used
Solely to operate the product: running your jobs, generating your delivery pages, quotes and invoices, sending the emails and notifications you trigger, and processing payments. We do not sell personal information and do not use your data for advertising or tracking.
Who processes it
Your data is stored and processed by service providers acting on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Stripe (payments), Google (address search and map images), Resend (email delivery) and Expo (push notification delivery). Delivery pages and quote pages are visible to anyone who has their unguessable link, by design — they are how you share your work with your clients.
Retention and deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. To delete your account and its data, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.
